Automation

Go to Account > Settings > Automation to configure global options for DigiCert® Trust Lifecycle Manager's certificate lifecycle automation tools.

Notice

These settings are only available if the Automation feature is enabled for your account. Contact your DigiCert account representative to verify or enable this feature.

Agent approval

Enable this setting to require administrator approval before newly installed DigiCert agents can be used for certificate lifecycle automation:

  1. From the Trust Lifecycle Manager main menu, select Account > Settings > Tool deployment.

  2. Select the checkbox under Approval - Single agent deployment to require manual approval of new agents.

  3. Select Save to apply your changes.

Agent blocked ports

Specify port numbers that should always be excluded from agent-based certificate automation:

  1. From the Trust Lifecycle Manager main menu, select Account > Settings > Agent blocked ports.

  2. Enter port numbers to block as a comma-separated list using hyphens for ranges, for Windows or Linux agents. These ports will be excluded from the Configure IP/ports section of the agent details page.

  3. Select Save to save your changes.

Usage notes:

  • Windows and Linux agents have different blocked ports enabled by default. Use the Reset function to restore these agent types to their default blocked ports.

  • Changes here get applied daily across all agents. To apply changes immediately or to specific agents, configure each agent from the Discovery & automation tools > Agents page instead.
