Users and access
Each person or service that accesses DigiCert® Trust Lifecycle Manager needs a valid user account with associated permissions that control which functions they can access.
You manage users in DigiCert ONE Account Manager. This section focuses on aspects of user and access management that are specific to DigiCert® Trust Lifecycle Manager.
User types
The two types of users are:
Regular user: An interactive user account assigned to a person so they can log in and work on the DigiCert® Trust Lifecycle Manager user interface (UI).
Service user: A special user account type for accessing the DigiCert® Trust Lifecycle Manager REST API service or integrating with external applications and services.
Notice
Regular users can also access the API service. However, DigiCert recommends limiting API access to service users as it helps track and regulate API requests.
