Edit seats

Use the edit seat function to update basic seat properties like the seat name and assigned email address. What's editable depends on the seat type and whether the seat is managed through certificate lifecycle automation functions.

Before you begin, make sure you understand the various seat management functions in DigiCert​​®​​ Trust Lifecycle Manager and when they're used.

Edit a seat

  1. From the Trust Lifecycle Manager menu, select Account > Seats.

  2. Find the seat you want to edit and select Edit seat from the actions menu in the rightmost table column. Or, open the seat and select Edit seat from the actions menu on the right of the details page.

  3. Update the basic seat properties. Available options depend on the seat type:

    • Seat name: The seat name.

    • Email: Email address assigned to the seat (optional).

    • Phone: Phone number assigned to a User seat (optional).

  4. Select Update seat to save your changes.
