Access top-level administrative accounts

DigiCert Support creates your DigiCert ONE account and the first account administrator. Confirm that any user intended to act as a top-level administrator has the role combination or custom-role permissions described in Identify top-level administrative and privileged accounts.

The first time an administrator signs in, DigiCert ONE requires them to enroll in two-factor authentication. They can’t access the account until enrollment is complete.

Assign each person who performs administrative tasks their own standard user account. Don’t share administrative credentials between people. Individual accounts preserve accountability for administrative actions recorded in the platform audit logs.

If all top-level administrative accounts are locked out or unavailable, contact DigiCert Support. Follow your agency’s account-recovery procedures alongside the DigiCert Support process.
