Configure account preferences

The Preferences page (Settings > Preferences) contains account-level configuration settings for certificate request behavior, DCV (domain control validation), user access controls, and verified contact permissions. Administrator access is required to change settings on the Preferences page.

Three sections appear when the page opens: Time display, Request note, and Client certificate settings. Expand Advanced Settings to access additional sections. For DCV, certificate request, and code signing settings in Advanced Settings, see Preferences: advanced settings.

To save any change on the page, select Save Settings.

Time Display

The Time Display Format dropdown controls the time format displayed across the account. Select 12 Hour (hh:mm am/pm) or 24 Hour (hh:mm).

Request note

The Custom Note For Request Pages field accepts a custom text message. The message appears on certificate request pages for all users in the account.

Client certificate settings

The Client Certificate Settings section stores support contact information for client certificate users in the organization.

  • Contact Email: Email address for the client certificate support contact.

  • Contact Phone Number: Phone number for the client certificate support contact.

  • Support Message: Message displayed to users who need client certificate support.
