Before you begin
Before you can submit a delegation request, DigiCert must validate the approver:
CertCentral global: A verified contact
CertCentral Europe: An authorized representative or verified contact
You can submit delegation requests for:
Administrators
Managers
Service users
CertCentral doesn’t maintain a centralized list of delegated approvers. Maintain your own record of submitted delegation requests so you can track pending, approved, or rejected requests.
Share the name of the authorized representative or verified contact with the delegated approver.
When submitting a certificate order, the delegated approver must include the same verified contact or authorized representative who delegated their approval authority.
If a different verified contact or authorized representative is selected, the order follows the standard approval process and does not receive automatic approval.
Aviso
Important: When you submit a delegation request, you only select the verified contact or authorized representative. The delegation automatically applies to all organizations they represent and all certificate products they’re authorized to approve.
