Cancel a pending client certificate reissue
Cancel a pending client certificate reissue when the reissue was submitted in error or is no longer required; the cancel option is available only before the certificate recipient generates the client certificate.
Before you begin
Warning
Cancel the reissue before the recipient generates the certificate. Once the recipient generates the client certificate, cancel is no longer available. Revoke the certificate instead.
If an approval step is configured on the account, the approver can reject the reissue request rather than canceling it.
Canceled requests can be viewed from the CertCentral main menu Account > Audit logs.
Cancel a pending reissue request
Nota
Canceling a reissue request cannot be undone and removes the request from the system entirely.
In the CertCentral main menu, go to Certificates > Orders.
On the Orders page, locate the Reissue Pending client certificate request you want to cancel.
Select the order number link to open the Order details page.
Under the Details tab Certificate Actions drop-down menu, select Cancel Order.
In the Cancel Order confirmation window, select Cancel Order.
Nota
Canceled orders are logged in the Audit Logs (Account > Audit Logs).
