Turn on client certificate renewal notifications
By default, client certificate renewal notifications are turned off. When a client certificate is set to renew automatically, DigiCert renews the certificate and sends the requester a copy to replace the expiring certificate without sending renewal notifications. If you prefer to renew client certificates manually, turn on renewal notifications so you receive advance notice before certificates expire.
Notice
Renewal notifications are not sent for client certificate orders set to renew automatically, regardless of this setting.
Before you begin
You must be a CertCentral administrator to configure renewal notification settings.
Client certificate renewal notifications are turned off by default.
Enable or disable client certificate renewal notifications
In the CertCentral main menu, go to Settings > Notifications.
On the Notifications page, expand Advanced notification settings.
In the Certificate lifecycle recipient settings section, under Other renewal notifications, select or clear Turn on client certificate renewal notifications to enable or disable notifications.
Select Save settings.
