Request a secure email (S/MIME) certificate from a CertCentral subscription
After purchasing a secure email (S/MIME), request a certificate from the active subscription in your DigiCert CertCentral account.
Before you begin
Confirm you have an active secure email certificate subscription. See Add a secure email (S/MIME) subscription.
In the CertCentral main menu, go to My digital trust products > My subscription.
Find the secure email subscription and select Actions > Request a certificate.
Select the Certificate validity (how long the certificate is valid for when issued).
Add your CSR.
Enter the certificate email addresses to be secured with the certificate.
Select Submit request to place the certificate order.
DigiCert validates the details before issuing the certificate.
