SAML: Generate your client certificate
Before you begin
After DigiCert issues your client certificate, you receive a Create Your DigiCert Client Certificate email containing a link to the certificate generation page. Have this email available before proceeding. If you have not received the email or cannot locate it, contact your CertCentral administrator to resend it. See SAML: Resend the Create Your DigiCert Client Certificate email.
Use a supported browser. Contact your CertCentral administrator if you are unsure which browsers are supported.
Generate your client certificate
Open the Create Your DigiCert Client Certificate email.
Select the link in the email to open the Generate your DigiCert Certificate page.
On the Generate your DigiCert Certificate page, verify that your name and email address are correct.
Read the Subscriber Agreement and select I agree to the terms of the subscriber agreement.
Select Generate Certificate.
Your client certificate is now ready to use for identity authentication.
To use the certificate for email signing or encryption, export a copy from your operating system or browser certificate store, or download a copy from your SAML Client Certificates page. See SAML: Download a copy of your client certificate .
