Restore SAML single sign-on
Restore SAML authentication after it has been turned off. To restore SAML, reconfigure it from the beginning using your IdP metadata and user matching method.
Before you begin
You must have Administrator access, or Manager access with the Allow access to SAML settings permission.
Have your IdP metadata available in dynamic URL or XML format.
Confirm the user matching method you will use: NameID or a SAML attribute.
Notice
If a user's data is missing from the IdP metadata, or if the matching attribute has changed since SAML was last configured, that user will not be able to sign in using SSO after restoration. Verify user data in your IdP before restoring.

Reconfigure SAML using the full setup procedure. See Configure SAML single sign-on.
Provide updated IdP metadata when required.
Validate authentication using the SP-initiated or IdP-initiated login URL. See Finalize SAML configuration.
SAML authentication becomes active after the first successful sign-in.
