Manage your client authentication certificates
A client authentication certificate is a digital certificate that verifies that you are a DigiCert user when your sign-in method is client certificate authentication or you request to perform an action via the DigiCert API. It allows applications to securely communicate with the API and DigiCert ONE client tools.
Instead of including your API key in the request header, you can specify the file path of your installed client authentication certificate. However, some APIs may require both your API key and client authentication certificate.
Nota
If your client authentication certificate expires, is deleted, or is disabled, any API integrations using it will stop working.
