Invite a user
Invite one or more users to join your CertCentral account. Each invited user receives an email with instructions to create their account credentials before an administrator approves their access.
Before you begin
You must have Administrator access to invite users.
If the user will request EV certificates, their profile must include a phone number and job title.
To add a service user with API-only access, generate an API key instead. See Generate an API key.
For DigiCert account–managed environments, add the user in your DigiCert account first, then assign CertCentral roles and division access. See DigiCert Account provisioning.
Send an invitation
In the CertCentral main menu, go to Account > User Invitations.
Select Invite new user.
Enter one or more email addresses separated by commas.
(Optional) Add a message to include in the invitation email.
Select Send invitation.
CertCentral sends an invitation email to each address. The invitation remains pending until the recipient accepts it and an administrator approves the request.
In accounts configured for single sign-on (SSO), administrators can also invite users who authenticate through the configured identity provider.
