Disable two-factor authentication

This action can only be performed by a system administrator. If you are a system administrator for an on-premise instance of DigiCert ONE, follow the steps below to disable two-factor authentication.

Note

If you currently use a DigiCert hosted instance of DigiCert ONE, you will have to contact DigiCert support to disable two-factor authentication.

To disable two-factor authentication:

  1. In DigiCert ONE, in the Manager menu (top right), select Account.

  2. In the Account Manager menu, select Accounts.

  3. On the Accounts page, select the Name of the account.

  4. On the Account details page, in the Sign-in settings for all-account-access users section, select the Two-factor authentication pencil (edit icon).

  5. On the Update two-actor authentication page, select Disable two-factor authentication

  6. When ready, select Update two-factor authentication.

What's next

DigiCert ONE sends existing users in your account the 2-factor authentication turned off for your DigiCert ONE account email. The email lets them know that the next time they sign in to DigiCert ONE, they will no longer need an additional one-time passcode (OTP) to sign in to DigiCert ONE.
