IoT Trust Manager

DigiCert​​®​​ IoT Trust Manager uses modern PKI to meet the requirements of your IoT device deployments. In DigiCert​​®​​ IoT Trust Manager, you manage certificates for your devices, device records, certificate profiles, enrollment configurations, authentication credentials, and more.

DigiCert​​®​​ IoT Trust Manager is where you create:

  • Devices

  • Device profiles

  • Certificate profiles

  • Enrollment profiles

  • Enrollment credentials

  • Divisions

It is also where you:

  • Request certificates

  • Import certificates

  • Manage certificates

  • Set up authentication credentials

  • Add ACME credentials

  • Upload new authentication CA certificates

When using DigiCert​​®​​ IoT Trust Manager hosted services, work with your DigiCert ONE account representative to set up DigiCert ONE. A DigiCert system administrator will complete the tasks below in the specified DigiCert ONE Manager.

Account Manager

  • Add needed license files

  • Create your primary DigiCert ONE account administrator

  • Create your primary DigiCert ONE account and organization for the account

Certificate Authority Manager

  • Create root and intermediate CA certificates to issue your certificates from

  • Add HSMs and register the partitions

  • Add the domains for OCSP, AIA, and other policies

  • Set defaults for OCSP, CRL, and AIA

DigiCert​​®​​ IoT Trust Manager

  • Create certificate templates for your DigiCert​​®​​ IoT Trust Manager. See Certificate templates.

After the initial setup, contact your DigiCert account representative for additional license files, when new root and intermediate CA certificates are needed, or to create more certificate templates for your DigiCert​​®​​ IoT Trust Manager.

For DigiCert ONE® hosted services, DigiCert is the CA. Therefore, we do most of the Certificate Authority (CA) Manager work for you. As your needs change and grow, work with your account representative to ensure CA Manager meets your requirements. We can modify CA-specific configurations, add domains, and create root CA and intermediate CA certificates for your DigiCert ONE platform.
