Edit a device
After creating a device, update the device record as needed to meet the device's needs.
Avis
Changing the contents of a device's record only affects that device.
In DigiCert ONE®, in the Manager menu (top right), select DigiCert® IoT Trust Manager.
In the DigiCert® IoT Trust Manager menu, select Devices > Device profiles.
On the Device management page, locate the device and select ellipses > Edit.
On the Edit device page, update the Device Identifier as needed.
The device identifier is how you identify the device on the Device management page.
When you edit a device record, you cannot assign the device to a different division, nor can you select a different device profile to use for the device.
Under API access, update which device-centric API endpoints this device needs permissions to access. Changes to the endpoint selections override the device profile endpoint selections for this device only.
These settings allow this device to authenticate to the API endpoint and perform the corresponding action. This device can authenticate to the API using certificates associated with their device record as valid credentials.
Avis
These permissions do not change any other portal or API behaviors or workflows. For example, a user renewing a certificate through the portal is not affected by these settings.

If fields were added to the device profile, you can leave them as is. Any information provided now will be overridden by the information provided in the certificate request for the device.
When you are ready, select Update.
The updated device's record is ready to go. The record will be updated as you issue certificates for the device.
