Dashboard

The Dashboard allows you to choose the platform where your certificates are stored. Choose your virtual or hardware token to view all your certificates in them.

  1. Right-click (on Windows) and left-click (on Mac) to launch the DigiCert Trust Assistant application from the Taskbar.

  2. Select Dashboard to launch the dashboard window. The Dashboard consists of Navigation Menu on the left, Navigation Header on the top, and Contents View on the right.

    There are shortcut icons for available tokens in the Contents View. Also, Memory usage in hardware tokens appears if hardware token is plugged in, showing the usage of memory calculated from available memory space.

Navigation Menu

On the left, you will find the following menus:

  • Dashboard: Selecting this menu returns you to the top pane.

  • Tokens: Selecting this menu opens a list of available tokens on this device. Tokens are displayed with their labels. By default, DigiCert Software KeyStore and the operating system keystore are shown. When you plug in a supported hardware token, it will also be displayed. Clicking each token opens a pane with token information and certificates stored on the token. Refer to Key Storage Management and Certificate Management for more details.

  • Advanced: This menu is only shown when Advanced mode is enabled. You can enable or disable it using the Enable/Disable Advanced Mode option in the Navigation Header Context menu. This mode is mainly used for troubleshooting.

On the top right, you will see the following icons:

  • Notification: Click to view notifications. Refer to Notifications for more information.

  • Help: Click the question mark icon to open the menu with the following options:

  • Context Menu: Click the three-bar icon (or the avatar icon if signed in) to open the menu with the following options:

    • Sign In: Click to open the Sign In pane, which allows you to sign in to DigiCert Trust Assistant. Refer to Signing In for more information.

    • Enable/Disable Advanced Mode: Click to enable or disable Advanced Mode. Refer to Advanced Mode for more information.

    • Close: Click to close the Dashboard. This will not close the application running in the background.
