Update a user profile

Once a user is added in DigiCert ONE, you can update these details:

  • User roles: ensure they can see and do what is necessary to finish their tasks.

  • Information: update name, email address, username, and phone number as needed.

  • Accounts: ensure they’re restricted to the accounts they need to access.

Suggerimento

To perform this action, you must have a user role that contains the Manage users permission.

To update your user profile

  1. Sign in to DigiCert ONE.

  2. In the top-right corner, select the profile icon > Admin profile

  3. Select the Edit icon.

  4. Update your details as needed: name, email address, username, and phone number.

  5. Add or remove accounts that you have access to.

    Nota

    Your primary account can’t be removed.

  6. Add or remove DigiCert ONE Managers that you have access to.

  7. Select Next.

  8. Update the user roles for each Manager that you have access to.

  9. Select Update user.

To update another user's profile

  1. Sign in to DigiCert ONE.

  2. In the Managers (grid icon) menu, select Account.

  3. In the Account menu, go to Access.

  4. On the Users page, in the First name column, select the user's name.

  5. On the User details page, select the update icon (pencil).

  6. Update user details as needed: name, email address, username, and phone number.

  7. Add or remove accounts that this user has access to.

    Nota

    The user's primary account can’t be removed.

  8. Add or remove DigiCert ONE Managers that the user has access to.

  9. Select Next.

  10. Update the user roles for each Manager the user is assigned to.

  11. Select Update user.

Troubleshooting

The following error may occur while attempting to link your DigiCert ONE account to DigiCert​​®​​ account.

Username already exists

Cause:

This error occurs when your DigiCert ONE username conflicts with a username that exists in DigiCert​​®​​ account (the single login experience). The system can’t finish the linking because both systems have a user with the same username, but they aren’t yet associated.

Solution:

To resolve this conflict, you must temporarily change your DigiCert ONE username before attempting to link your account again:

  1. Sign in to DigiCert ONE.

  2. In the top-right corner, select the profile icon > Admin profile

  3. Select the Edit icon.

  4. In the Username field, make a change.

    Suggerimento

    Once you link your account, your DigiCert​​®​​ account username overrides this username, so you can make a random change like removing or adding a character.

  5. Select Update profile.

Upon your next sign in, select Link your account.
