Understand licenses, subscriptions, and purchases in DigiCert ONE
Access to DigiCert ONE products and trust sources depends on what is enabled for your DigiCert ONE account and the purchasing model used for those products and trust sources.
The following solutions use licenses that determine which features, activities, capacity, or usage limits are available in your account. These licenses are typically provided through a subscription or service agreement.
CertCentral supports different purchasing and account models:
Retail
Legacy: Accounts allow users to purchase certificates individually, per order.
Subscription: A twelve-month subscription that activates upon a new purchase or a certificate renewal.
Enterprise accounts support agreement-based purchasing models for organizations that need centralized certificate management, account-level administration, account-balance billing, purchase orders, contract terms, or other enterprise purchasing options.
Partner accounts support agreement-based purchasing models for partners, resellers, and providers that manage certificate activity for customers or subaccounts.
Because products, trust sources, purchasing models, subscriptions, agreements, and licenses vary, different DigiCert ONE accounts may have access to different products, features, pages, or administrative settings.
If you cannot access a product or feature that you expect to use, your DigiCert ONE account may not include the required product, trust source, or license, or your assigned user role may not include the access required.
Contact your DigiCert administrator to verify what is enabled for your account, the associated licenses, and your assigned user role. For more information about roles, see Understanding Users, Roles, and Access.
