Reset a locked one-time password method
Reset a user's OTP method when they are locked out after entering an incorrect passcode too many times. A locked OTP method prevents the user from signing in until an administrator resets it.
Before you begin
You must have Administrator access to reset locked OTP methods.
Confirm the user is locked out. The account appears as locked in the OTP methods table.
Reset a locked OTP method
In the CertCentral main menu, go to Settings > Authentication Settings.
Select the Two-factor authentication tab.
Select One-time password (OTP) methods.
Locate the locked user.
Select Reset.
CertCentral sends the user an email with instructions to configure a new OTP method. The user configures the new method the next time they sign in.
