Holder source

The holder source defines how the holder information is derived when issuing an attribute certificate.

The holder information consists of the base certificate serial number and issuer common name that uniquely identify the certificate holder.

Specifies how holder information is obtained. Supported values include:

  • certificate: Extracts the holder serial number and issuer common name from a supplied certificate

  • input: Requires the holder serial number and issuer common name to be supplied during enrollment

注記

When input is used, the certificate serial number must be supplied in hexadecimal (HEX) format.
