Administrators can download a signed CRL binary large object (blob) to:
Publish the CRL to external CRL distribution points
Transfer the CRL to another system
Inspect or verify the CRL contents
Each time a CRL is generated, DigiCert® Private CA produces a new signed CRL blob. You can find all the signed blobs in the CRL details.
To download a CRL blob in DigiCert Private CA:
Select CRLs in the left menu.
On the Certificate Revocation List page, select the CRL.
On the CRL details page, in the Signed CRL blobs section, open the Actions menu (three horizontal dots).
Select Download CRL blob.
Save the .crl file.
The downloaded file contains the signed CRL generated by the CA. Administrators can host this file on another CRL distribution point or import it into another system that requires the CRL.
