Re-authenticate device certificate

The Device Certificate, issued when you sign in to DigiCert Trust Assistant, automates authentication between DigiCert Trust Assistant and DigiCert ONE. Refer to About device certificate for more information.

The certificate is automatically renewed in the background. However, if it expires—such as when DigiCert Trust Assistant is not running during the renewal period—you will need to re-issue the certificate by re-authorizing.

You will receive a notification on the Dashboard indicating that re-authentication is required.

  1. Click the Re-authenticate action link to initiate the process. You will be redirected to the DigiCert ONE login page.

  2. On the DigiCert ONE login page, enter your Username (email address) and click Next.

  3. Click Sign in with your company’s SSO. You will be redirected to your organization’s single sign-in page. Enter your credentials to log in to your Identity Provider.

  4. You will be redirected back to DigiCert ONE and then to DigiCert Trust Assistant. If prompted by your browser to open the application, click Open.

The dashboard displays a success message indicating that re-authentication was successful.
