Setup completion checklist

After completing onboarding, confirm the following are done before requesting certificates:

Organization

  • Organization created in CertCentral

  • Organization submitted for validation

  • Organization validation status confirmed as validated

Domains

  • Domains added to CertCentral

  • Domain control validation completed for all required domains

  • Domain validation status confirmed as validated

Users and access

  • Administrator roles assigned

  • Additional users invited and roles confirmed

  • User onboarding policy configured

  • Two-factor authentication enabled for all users

Account-type specific

  • Enterprise: Divisions created and users assigned to divisions

  • Partner: Initial customer subaccounts created and configured

  • Subscription: Certificate pool usage reviewed and allocation confirmed

  • Legacy: Existing workflows reviewed for compatibility

Billing and settings

  • Payment method configured

  • Notification preferences configured

  • Account preferences reviewed

Certificate readiness

  • CSR generation process confirmed

  • First certificate request submitted or ready to submit
