SAML certificate request workflow
When a SAML user signs in using the SAML certificate request URL, they arrive at their Client Certificates page. From this page, users can request client certificates, check order status, and manage their certificates.
SAML certificate request form
To order a client certificate, on the Client Certificates page, select Request A Certificate. On the Request Certificate form, select the certificate type and validity period. Add a CSR if company policy requires it.
The requester cannot edit the common name, email address, or organization — this information is pulled directly from the SAML assertion. If any information is incorrect, the requester must contact a CertCentral administrator to make corrections.
Use certificate cards to manage certificates
On the Client Certificates page, users see certificate cards reflecting their current stage in the client certificate process. The cards show certificates ordered, order status, and available actions including download, order, and revoke.
