Turn off SAML single sign-on

Turn off SAML when federated authentication is no longer required for your account. Turning off SAML deletes all federation settings and cannot be undone.

Before you begin

You must have Administrator access, or Manager access with the Allow access to SAML settings permission.

Important

Turning off SAML locks out all SAML SSO-only users immediately. Before proceeding, convert each SSO-only user to an account user so they can sign in with CertCentral credentials. See Convert a SAML SSO-only user to an account user.

Turn off SAML settings

  1. In the CertCentral main menu, go to Settings > Single Sign-On.

  2. Select Edit Federation Settings.

  3. Select Turn off SSO and delete settings.

  4. Review the confirmation information and select Turn off SSO and delete settings to confirm.

SAML is turned off and all federation settings are deleted. Users sign in using the default authentication method configured for your account.

This action cannot be undone. To re-enable SAML, configure it again.
