SAML prerequisites

Before configuring SAML single sign-on, ensure you have the following:

  • A CertCentral account with SAML enabled

  • An identity provider (IdP) that supports SAML 2.0

  • Your IdP metadata in dynamic URL or XML format

  • A method to match CertCentral users to SAML users, either NameID or a SAML attribute

  • Administrator access to CertCentral, or Manager access with the Allow access to SAML settings permission

Notice

If Single Sign-On does not appear under Settings, SAML is not enabled for your account. Contact your DigiCert account representative or DigiCert Support to enable it.
