Delete and restore a certificate profile

To perform this action, you must have a user role that contains the Solution administrator permission.

When you delete a certificate profile, you prevent creating, cloning, or updating associated certificate management policies. This action does not affect other entities that rely on it. If you end up needing to use a deleted certificate profile again, you can restore it.

  1. In the Device Trust Manager menu, go to Certificate management > Certificate settings > Certificate profiles.

  2. Select the certificate profile you want to delete.

  3. Click More actions > Delete.

  4. In the Delete confirmation dialog, select Delete.

The certificate profile's Status will display Deleted.

By default, deleted certificate profiles are hidden from view. To view deleted certificate profiles, select the filter icon in the Status column of the certificate profiles table.

  1. In the Device Trust Manager menu, go to Certificate management > Certificate settings > Certificate profiles.

  2. Select the filter icon in the Status column of the certificate profiles table.

  3. Select Deleted from the dropdown list.

  4. Select the certificate profile you want to restore, select More actions > Restore.

The Status of the restored certificate profile will display as Active.
