Review and resolve denials
Review denied AI agent requests, understand the cause, and take action to resolve them. This includes reviewing the violation, updating the applicable policy or agent configuration.
Review denials
The Denials page lists denied requests; you can filter and view them using the following items:
Denial reasons
View the denials by selecting a reason the request was denied, such as a policy violation, invalid identity, or missing passport:
Reason | Description |
|---|---|
Policy deny | The request was denied because it violates an applicable security policy. |
Constraint deny | The request was denied because it does not meet a configured constraint or required condition. |
Invalid identity | The agent identity could not be verified. |
No passport | The agent does not have an assigned passport. |
Invalid passport | The agent's passport is invalid or cannot be verified. |
Peer passport | The request was denied because the peer agent's passport is invalid or does not meet the required trust conditions. |
Error | The request could not be processed due to an unexpected error. |
Denial status
Filter the denials by the current state:
Status | Description |
|---|---|
New | The denial has been recorded but not yet reviewed. |
Acknowledged | The denial has been reviewed and confirmed. |
Resolved | The underlying issue has been addressed and the denial is no longer active. |
Ignored | The denial has been dismissed without further action. |
Resolve denials
To review and resolve AI agent denials:
In the AI Trust Manager menu, select Governance > Violations and risks > Denials.
Open an item from the list of denials.
Review the denial details and select an action:
Open audit logs: View related audit events to understand the denial and investigate the agent's activity.
Acknowledge and Resolve: Confirm that you have reviewed the denial. Select Resolve later to address the denial.
Ignore: Dismiss the denial without taking further action. You can Reopen and take action later.
Recommendations: Review the recommended action to help resolve the denial.
