By default, only administrators can access SAML features in CertCentral. The Allow access to SAML settings permission enables managers to access SAML features and help manage your Single Sign-on configuration and SAML certificate requests.
Notice
Only administrators can assign the SAML permission to a manager. The SAML permission can only be assigned to the Manager and Finance Manager roles.
Before you begin
You must have Administrator access to grant SAML permissions to managers.
Grant a manager access to SAML settings
In the CertCentral menu, go to Account > Users.
Select the manager whose access you want to update.
Under Role, enable Allow access to SAML settings.
Select Update user.
The manager can now access SAML features. To identify the user with SAML permissions, go to Account > Users and the role displays as Manager, SAML Admin.
Administrators automatically get this permission and are not shown as SAML Admin on the Users page. That designation applies only to managers.
