JCE library
DigiCert® Software Trust Manager provides a JCE library for developers to securely and quickly sign Java code.
The JCE library handles secure key generation, application hash signing, and associated certificate-related requirements when the signing request does not require the transportation of files and intellectual property.

Your API key and client authentication certificate password must be provided using one of the following methods:
Session-based environment variables.
Persistent environment variables.
What signing tools can JCE library integrate with?
The DigiCert® Software Trust Manager JCE library integrates with the following tools while maintaining key protection, permission-based access and reporting all signing activities:
Jarsigner (for signing)
Keytool (for key management)
What can the JCE sign?
DigiCert® Software Trust Manager JCE library enables secure hash-based signing of Java files:

.sar
.war
Download JCE library
Sign in to DigiCert ONE.
Navigate to: Manager menu (top-right) Software Trust.
Select Resources > Client tool repository.
Click the download icon next to the desired DigiCert JCE Java Client.
Copy it to the location of your choice.
Tip
There is no specific installation process required, however you will be required to provide the path to the JCE library when signing. Refer to the related articles below for the exact command.
