Manage ACME-based certificate profiles

To manage ACME-based certificate profiles in DigiCert​​®​​ Trust Lifecycle Manager, go to Policies > Certificate profiles. ACME-based profiles show 3rd-party ACME client in the Enrollment method column.

Available management actions

Available management actions depend on the profile type and status and may include the following. Select the links for more details about each action.

Description

Activate profile

Reactivate a suspended certificate profile so it can be used to issue certificates again.

Check status

For CertCentral profiles only, force a sync operation with the linked CertCentral account to check for any issues. The profile status updates to Active if the profile is ready to use, otherwise the status updates to Action needed and the profile details page shows a banner with troubleshooting information.

Clone profile

Duplicate the certificate profile as the basis for creating a new one.

Delete profile

Permanently delete the certificate profile.

Download profile config

Download a local copy of the profile configuration in JSON format.

Edit profile

Edit the main certificate profile configuration options.

Regenerate ACME URL and EAB credentials

For ACME-enabled certificate profiles only, regenerate the ACME external account binding (EAB) credentials associated with the profile.

Suspend profile

Disable the certificate profile to prevent it from being used until reactivated.
