Use UltraDNS for domain validation
Once the UltraDNS integration is active, CertCentral handles domain validation for linked domains automatically. No manual DNS updates are required during certificate requests or renewals.
When you request or renew a TLS certificate for a UltraDNS-linked domain:
Add the domain to the certificate request.
Select DNS TXT record as the DCV method.
Select UltraDNS as the DNS provider.
CertCentral automatically creates the required DNS TXT record in UltraDNS and monitors it until validation completes. Linked domains are also revalidated every seven days, so domain validation remains current without manual intervention.
UltraDNS automates the DNS TXT record DCV method. For details about all available domain control validation methods and when to use them, see Perform domain control validation (DCV).
