SAML: Submit a request to revoke a client certificate

Submit a revocation request when a client certificate is no longer needed or the certificate's private key has been compromised. The revocation process requires administrator approval before DigiCert revokes the certificate.

Have the SAML certificate requests URL available to sign in. If you do not have the URL, contact your CertCentral administrator.

Submit the request

  1. Use the SAML certificate requests URL to sign in to the Client Certificates page.

  2. Locate the client certificate and select Revoke.

  3. In the confirmation window, select OK.

After submission, your CertCentral administrator is notified of the pending revocation request. If the administrator approves the request, DigiCert revokes the certificate. If the administrator denies the request, you receive an email notification.
