Set up a signing provider

A signing provider is the software engine that provides secure credentials. DigiCert ONE gives you a choice of two signing providers: DigiCert's own DigiCert​​®​​ Document Trust Manager Engine or Ascertia.

  1. In DigiCert ONE®, in the Manager menu (grid at top right), select DigiCert​​®​​ Document Trust Manager.

  2. In the DigiCert​​®​​ Document Trust Manager menu, select Setup > Signing providers.

  3. On the Signing provider list page, select Create signing provider.

  4. On the Create signing provider page, fill out the form:

    • Signing engine: Choose between DigiCert ONE DigiCert​​®​​ Document Trust Manager or Ascertia. If you are operating outside the Netherlands, you will likely use DigiCert ONE DigiCert​​®​​ Document Trust Manager.

    • Organization name: A previously set up organization.

    • Organization email: Automatically pulled based on your organization.

    • SMS origin countries: Choose the option that best matches your location.

    • Signing engine server URL, ID, secret: These are filled in by DigiCert staff.
