Automate certificate deployment to cloud services

Automation profiles deploy certificates to supported cloud environments after certificate issuance or renewal. Automated deployment ensures certificates are installed consistently and updated whenever they are renewed or reissued.

Automated deployment workflow:

  1. Submit the certificate request through an automation profile.

  2. Complete domain control validation requirements.

  3. DigiCert issues the certificate.

  4. The automation profile deploys the certificate to the configured environment.

Supported deployment targets include:

  • Cloud-hosted applications

  • Load balancers

  • Key management services

  • Automation clients configured through automation profiles

Notice

Automated deployment requires a configured automation profile with the correct certificate settings and deployment target. If deployment fails, confirm the automation profile is active and the deployment environment is accessible. See Identify automation failures and retry conditions.
