Enable automatic certificate request approvals
By default, CertCentral Enterprise accounts require one-step certificate request approvals. Enable automatic approvals so that administrators and managers who are also the approver for a certificate request do not need a separate approval step.
Notice
Automatic certificate request approvals are not available for Subscription accounts. The certificate issuance process for Subscription accounts does not include an approval step — orders are automatically submitted to DigiCert for processing.
Enable automatic certificate approvals
In the CertCentral main menu, go to Settings > Preferences.
On the Preferences page, expand Advanced Settings.
In the Certificate Requests section, under Approval steps, select One step: certificate requests must be approved.
Select Automatically approve New and Reissue certificate requests when the requester is also an approver.
Select Save Settings.
The next time an administrator or manager who is also the approver submits a certificate request, the request is approved automatically.
