Delete and restore a device profile

If a device profile is no longer needed, you can delete it. Deleting a device profile removes it from forms requiring a certificate profile, such as creating an enrollment profile. It also removes it from the list of profiles on the Device profiles page.

Note

Deleting a device profile does not affect enrollment profiles that rely on it. They will continue to work as expected.

If you end up needing to use a deleted device profile again, you can restore it. After you restore a device profile, it will appear on forms requiring a device profile, such as creating an enrollment profile. It also reappears in the list of profiles on the Device profiles page.
