Monitor automation execution status

CertCentral displays automation activity for configured automation profiles and scheduled automation events. Review automation status regularly to confirm that certificate requests, renewals, and deployments occur as expected.

Automation status information helps administrators determine whether automation events completed successfully or require attention.

Automation status indicators include the following:

  • Scheduled automation events

  • Completed automation events

  • Pending automation events

  • Failed automation events

Monitoring these status indicators helps administrators confirm that certificate requests, renewals, and deployments occur as expected.

View automation status

  1. In the CertCentral main menu, go to Automation > Automated IPs.

  2. Review the status of scheduled automation events.

Automation status indicators include the following:

  • Scheduled: The automation event is queued and has not yet started.

  • Completed: The automation event completed successfully and the certificate was issued and installed.

  • Pending: The automation event is waiting for validation or approval to complete before proceeding.

  • Failed: The automation event did not complete. Review the event details to identify the cause.

View automation event details

  1. In the CertCentral main menu, go to Automation > Automated IPs.

  2. Select the automation event to view details.

  3. Review the event log for error messages or status updates.
