Configure CertCentral to send verification DCV emails
Configure your CertCentral account settings once to determine which email addresses receive the DCV verification email. This configuration applies to all domains you validate using email-based DCV methods.
Select the configuration that matches your chosen email method:
Before you begin
You must be an administrator to view and update the Preferences page.
Configure email to DNS TXT and DNS CAA record contact
Notice
This setting applies to both the DNS TXT record contact and the DNS CAA record contact methods.
In the CertCentral main menu, go to Settings > Preferences.
On the Preferences page, select Advanced Settings.
In the Domain Control Validation (DCV) section, under Send verification DCV emails to, select Org/Tech/Admin contacts from DNS TXT.
Select Save Settings.
Configure constructed email addresses
In the CertCentral main menu, go to Settings > Preferences.
On the Preferences page, select Advanced Settings.
In the Domain Control Validation (DCV) section, under Send verification DCV emails to, select the constructed email addresses you have set up: admin@, administrator@, hostmaster@, postmaster@, or webmaster@.
Select Save Settings.
