Assign a threat detection scan to a release

Users should assign a threat detection scan to a release.

Assigning a release to a scan ensures that scan data is managed based on the security policies and rules configured within the release window.

To assign a scan to a release:

  1. In the Software Trust menu, go to Threat detection > Threat detection.

  2. Select the desired scan.

  3. In the General information section, under Release, select Add Release.

  4. Select the desired release, and then select Update.

    • To create and assign a new release, select Don't have a release?, and then complete the missing fields. To learn how to complete these fields, see Create a release.

Unassign a threat detection scan from a release

  1. In the Software Trust menu, go to Releases > Releases.

  2. Select the desired release.

  3. Under Threat detection scans, hover over the desired scan, and then select the delete (delete_trash_icon.png) icon to unassign the scan from the release.
