Set up custom notifications

DigiCert® Trust Lifecycle Manager allows you to customize existing pre-configured notifications, and set up new custom notifications. While you can customize any available notification by adjusting recipients, content, or frequency, you can set up entirely new notifications (custom notification) only for those notification types that support cloning. See Notifications that you can clone.

Notifications that you can clone

Trust Lifecycle Manager allows you to clone all notification types that fall under the Certificate lifecycle and Expiring certificates categories, including:

  • Discovered certificate expiring: Notifies you when a discovered certificate imported through a connector is approaching its expiration. You can download the attached file in the notification to view the expiring certificate(s).

  • Discovered certificate: Notifies you when a new certificate imported through a connector has been discovered. You can download the attached file in the notification to view the discovered certificate(s).

  • Discovered certificate expired: Notifies you when a certificate imported through a connector has expired. You can download the attached file in the notification to view the expiring certificate(s).

  • Revocation email challenge: Notifies you when the revocation of a certificate has been initiated. You have 10 minutes from the time of receiving the notification to confirm if you want to proceed with the revocation. If you take no action within the 10-minute window, the certificate is revoked automatically.

  • Uploaded certificate expiring: Notifies you when an uploaded certificate is approaching its expiration.
