Submit an authorized representative delegation request
For Qualified Website Authentication Certificates (QWAC) and QWAC PSD2
In CertCentral Europe, DigiCert has created an automated authorized representative delegation process for QWAC and QWAC PSD2 certificates.
Learn how to submit a delegation request to eliminate the need for repeated authorized representative approvals for every QWAC and QWAC PSD2 order.
Before you begin
DigiCert must validate the authorized representative before that person can delegate their QWAC and QWAC PSD2 approval authority. You can only submit a delegation request for CertCentral administrators, managers, and service users.
Take note of the following details when submitting the delegation request:
Name of the organization for which you submitted the delegation request.
When ordering QWAC and QWAC PSD2 certificates, the delegated approver must include the organization for which the authorized representative delegated their approval authority. If they add another organization, the order doesn't receive an automatic approval. Instead, it goes through the regular authorized representative approval process.
Name of the authorized representative to whom you submitted the delegation request.
When ordering QWAC and QWAC PSD2 certificates, the delegated approver must include the authorized representative who delegated their approval authority to them in the order. If they add another Authorized Representative, the order doesn't receive an automatic approval. Instead, it goes through the regular authorized representative approval process.
Name of the Administrator, Manager, or service user to whom the authorized representative is delegating their authority.
You need the name of the administrator, manager, or service user to check on a request, resend or cancel a request, or revoke a delegation. CertCentral doesn't have a central location where you can find all the delegated approvers.
