Enable adding non-CertCentral account users as verified contacts

Before you begin

When allowing non-CertCentral account users to be added as verified contacts, this functionality becomes available to any certificate requester. To limit who can add non-CertCentral account users as verified contacts, refer to Limit who can add new contacts from request forms.

Enable adding non-CertCentral account users as verified contacts

  1. In CertCentral, in the left menu, select Settings > Preferences.

    For CertCentral Subscription accounts, in the left menu, go to Validation > Organizations.

  2. On the Preferences page, expand Advanced Settings.

  3. In the Verified Contacts section, select Allow non-CertCentral users to be used as verified contacts.

  4. At the end of the page, select Save Settings.
