Manage delivery settings
When an alert is triggered, the generated notfication is sent to one or more delivery methods that you configure and assign to the alert. Delivery defines the system or platform (such as email) that delivers the message and the specific recipients (such as your DigiCert account users or other email addresses) for the message.
You can configure your alerts with these delivery methods:
Email—The default delivery for most alert templates. You can send email to predefined users, roles, and team withn your DigiCert services, as well as any other valid email addresses.
Tip
Custom SMTP delivery—If your business needs to deliver notifications through its own email server instead of through DigiCert, configure and enable your email server. This allows your business to maintain internal compliance policies, present a familiar sender to your recipients, and help avoid junk mail filters.
Slack—Send an alert to your Slack workspace and specific channels.
Webhooks—Send an alert to a webhook for routing and use as needed within your environment.
ServiceNow—Create an incident ticket in your ServiceNow account for the triggered alert.
