Ask AI Assist about your account and inventory

With the AI Assist chatbot, you can use natural-language queries to find information and generate custom reports about the inventory data in your DigiCert​​®​​ Trust Lifecycle Manager account. For example, the chatbot can find information about certificates in your inventory nearing expiration, presenting its findings in tables and charts with downloadable CSV or PDF files.

To chat with AI Assist, open the ? menu on the top-right and select the chatbot option.

Before you begin

To verify whether inventory analysis is available, open AI Assist and look for "certificate lifecycle management data" under What I can do for you. If you don't see it, your account does not include these capabilities. For help verifying or enabling this feature, contact your DigiCert account representative.

Data analysis capabilities

AI Assist supports the following capabilities for analyzing the data in your Trust Lifecycle Manager account:

  • Use natural language to query the API and get answers about certificates, endpoints, and enrollments in your inventory.

  • The chatbot response functions like a custom report including tables, lists, and charts.

  • Copy the chatbot response or download as a PDF or CSV file to share the findings.

  • Prompt in all major international languages and receive the response in the same language.

  • Provide feedback for any response to help train the chatbot for future queries.

Best practices for using AI Assist

Use the following functionalities to gain the best use of AI Assist for analyzing your account data.

Save a response

Copy the chatbot responses to save for later or share with others. Select the copy icon below the response.

Download PDF or CSV

Chatbot responses about your account data include options to download the report as a PDF or CSV file. Select the download icons below the response.

Charts and graphs

Ask the chatbot to include visual aids such as charts and graphs in its responses. Some prompts generate these automatically.

Review chat history

AI Assist saves the history of your chats over time. The history persists regardless of your logged-in status.

To view the history, select the history icon in the top-right corner. Select a previous prompt in your history to get a fresh response for it.

Note: AI Assist does not capture or store your personal data. Just the chat content from your logged-in session.

Get the best possible answers

AI Assist gathers responses from the API service of Trust Lifecycle Manager based on the questions you ask. To get the best possible answers, follow these tips:

  • Make your query specific by adding pertinent details or key terms.

  • Ask one question at a time.

Report inaccurate responses

Due to its nature, AI Assist might make mistakes or give inaccurate answers. If you feel that AI Assist provides invalid or misleading information, we recommend you try one of the following actions:

  • Rephrase the query to make it clearer for AI Assist. For example, add key words and details about which you want information.

  • If you feel that AI Assist fails to provide an effective answer, let us know. Select the thumbs down button and enter your feedback.

Tip

We regularly evaluate the success of AI Assist's answers. To let us know how it's working, select the thumbs up or thumbs down button.

Example prompts

The following examples demonstrate the types of data analysis that AI Assist can perform for you:

  • Give me expiration distribution of my certs

  • Show me a graph of certificates expiring in the next 30 days

  • How many certs issued for the example.com domain

  • How many certs assigned to owner admin@example.com

  • Give me a list of revoked certs

  • How many certs have weak key length

  • How many enrollments still pending

Disable the AI Assist chatbot

If you do not want to run the AI chatbot in your account, DigiCert can disable it for you. Contact DigiCert Support or your account representative to request disabling AI Assist for your Trust Lifecycle Manager account.
