Add CA certificates
The Inventory > Trust stores > CA certificates page lists the current trust anchors in your DigiCert® Trust Lifecycle Manager account. Trust Lifecycle Manager automatically includes public CA certificates from the Mozilla trust store. To use any additional root or intermediate CA certificates, you must upload them manually.
Notice
Any root and intermediate CA certificates that you add are account-scoped to the Trust Lifecycle Manager account where you uploaded them.
Add a CA certificate
To upload one of your root or intermediate CA certificates to Trust Lifecycle Manager:
From the Trust Lifecycle Manager menu, go to Inventory > Trust stores > CA certificates.
Select Add CA certificate.
Select the applicable Trust type for this CA certificate. The available options are Private and Public.
Drag and drop the CA certificate file into the Upload certificate area. Alternatively, you can select Browse files option to choose a file from your computer.
Important
The certificate file you upload must be encoded in
PEMorDERformat and have a file extension of .cer or .der. The maximum file size is 5 MB.Select Upload to upload the CA certificate.
Private versus public CAs
Private CA certificates become active as soon as you upload them.
Public CA certificates are initially set to inactive, pending DigiCert review. Contact DigiCert Support with questions or for help expediting the approval process.
