Managed subaccounts

Managed subaccounts provide API-only access to CertCentral. Unlike the other three subaccount types, managed subaccounts do not provide a CertCentral UI — no one logs in to a managed subaccount directly.

The primary use case is for partners and resellers who have their own customer portal that connects to the managed subaccount through API integration. The parent account retains full control over the subaccount's pricing, product availability, and contact information from within the parent's subaccount management page in CertCentral.
