Subaccount management
CertCentral supports four subaccount types. Select the type that matches your customer's access and management needs.

Enterprise | For customers who need full CertCentral functionality. All features available to the parent account are available to this subaccount. | Yes |
Reseller/Partner | For customers who are certificate resellers. All features available to the parent account are available to this subaccount. Reseller subaccounts can create and manage their own subaccounts. | Yes |
Managed | API-only access. No CertCentral UI login. Intended for integration into a customer portal via the DigiCert API. The parent retains full control over pricing, product availability, and contact information. | No |
Retail/Legacy | For customers with few certificates who do not need complex account management. Not all CertCentral features are available. | Yes |
Notice
Not all four subaccount types may be available in your account. Contact your DigiCert account manager if a type you need is not available. Once a subaccount is created, contact your account manager to change its type.
