Certificate templates
A Certificate Template in DigiCert® IoT Trust Manager provides the basic settings and essential components for creating certificates. Using this template, you get the configurations and patterns needed to issue certificates for your IoT devices.
To create certificate templates, you'll need specific permissions in IoT Trust Manager: Manage certificate template and View certificate template.
In hosted versions of DigiCert® IoT Trust Manager, DigiCert acts as the system administrator–collaborating with you to set up certificate templates.
For on-premises installations of DigiCert® IoT Trust Manager , you act as the system administrator, consulting with DigiCert as needed to develop your certificate templates.
